in my opinion the face-bookers are either getting wiser or the Soccer-suburban-mom skoolie craze is waning a bit.. .. several facebook posts of overly priced busses are just sitting there now whereas a year ago same bus woulda sold in a week at highjer price..

the lady with the wayne and fishbowl in oregon got snooty with our offers to biuy both her busses as a package.. but now she has lowered her price twice.. I have a feeling she will soon be contacting us back to come get them at our offers.. and the prices for these rust free busses arent cra-cra... they are just older.. they dont have ideal drivetrains for cross-country travel .. peeps are getting smarter and not going out and buying 40 year gasoline busses and expecting 12 MPG at 80 MPH...

which is fine .. i want those classics.. and with all their seats and interior panels.. so im all for skoolie purchasers getting educated and buying busses suited best for conversion and travel vs buying classics and gutting them only to scrap them a year later.. HOWEVER educated buyers also mean they arent goingto keep paying real high prices for mediocre busses.. as a buyer it makes it great.. as a seller not so much

There is a great guy outside of Ocala that we got ours from. Great prices and we had 4 to choose from. He even delivered it to us an hour away. We got a 38ft flat front with 4 storage bins underneath. Think band or football bus with the storage bins accessed on the outside. Good buses can be found at great prices in Florida.

[QUOTE=musigenesis;364750]How much do you think you could get for my bus in its current state? It has at least some value as a potential watermelon-picking truck.[/QUOTE

Colorado custom coachworks doesn't have the best reputation on here.

And Charlie charges MORE than an arm and a leg.

If you haven't already purchased the bus, try Tampa bus market in Tampa Florida

I have notice this also, there has got be hundreds of bus's for sale on many Facebook groups in every stage of the conversion process. Nearly all of them are overpriced and just sitting there.

Not to discourage anyone from living skoolie, But I hope the craze is waning a bit. It's not all rainbows and butterfly like all the YouTube channels Instagram accounts make it out to be.

I have sent several emails and left phone messages at CCC, they have NEVER replied to any. Not the kind of business I want to give my money to.
