I keep seeing references to "flat nose" and "dog nose" skoolies. Let's try to clarify, shall we?

Transit Style Rear Engine Bus
Flat nose, RE, rear engine
Transit Style Front Engine Bus
Falt nose, Front Engine, FE, The engine cover inside the bus is sometimes called the dog house
Conventional Style Bus
Dog Nose, also the engine compartment can be called the dog house too.

CaptainInsaneo, they are NOT Flat nose or Dog nose. They are either Transit-style or Conventional. That was the entire purpose of this thread.

I was trying to link the "skoolie" names to the actual names in the pics. Just incase the pics go away in time. Since those links are not ones you control.
I whole heartedly agree that they should be called transit (re/fe) or conventional.
