If you get a big enough mounted tank you'll eventually give up the bottles. You can make quick connects anywhere, including on the outside of the bus, that you can use for barbecuing.

Some trucks have the tank mounted between the frame rails with a filler neck mounted on the body much like a regular fuel tank.

I'm holding out for that hydrogen technology so I can drive across the country on water.

I just take abandoned grills and propane bottles from the houses I mow and from the roadside. You'd be surprised how many people throw away a propane tank once its empty.
I've got at least six!

I dunno if they are the cheapest or not but I go there too.

Then don't but putting $hit in the way is just a dick move. Either charge more or quit being an a$shole. I'd rip them a new one for that.

Oddly RVs are apparently exempt from the recertification issues if they remain unchanged.
Makes sense. It's "inside" so it won't rust, doesn't get banged around, and how often does a tank actually fail?

Get a 120 and a 20. Keep the 20 handy for when the U-Haul place is playing games. My bus is a 40 footer so I might have trouble getting in their lot anyway depending on location.

People are stupid. If they are moving, I can see them tossing it. The grill is huge and rusted out anyway, don't want the bottle bouncing around in the back of the truck, etc.
