Tow hitch on 2008 blue bird vision

Hi All

Will be be getting the flat towing package installed on my ranger in a few weeks, but th shop can’t do the hitch on the bus. Anyone installed a receiver on a blue bird? I need a towing capacity of 7000 lbs, Anyone know of a hitch and if it’s a DIY install

class 5 reese hitch.
not a bolt in place because most bus bodies were extended to hold the bus body.
if you have a good drill and a good jack which you should have anyway then yes it is DIY.

My insurance man said I cannot do any hitch work at all. I bet that shop got the same information from their insurance....tooo much liability. If it's made by someone else to install (uhaul, reese) and is covered by their liability insurance then you have an out. You better not make one and install it on someone else's vehicle, it's your business your gonna lose. Had a guy once wanted me to make a basket to install on the front/rear of his vehicle in a 2" receiver to put his camera man in to do moving vehicle movies.....what do you think I said?
