where to get new tires???

I have yet to actually buy a bus however have looked at tons! Several of them appear to be in need of new tires. So.... is telling when a bus needs new tires like with a personal vehicle? And where is a good (and cheap) place to get tires????

Re: where to get new tires???

There is no cheap when it comes to tires for full size buses

Biggest issue will be date coding....7-10 years too many variables and opinions

Most buses will not see the mileage that an OTR truck will so, tread wise they will last until the tires get old

For "steers" front tires new is the only way to go $375 to $700 each they last along time though

For the rear a retread is the way to go...we are lighter than OTR trucks and if air up....heat is usually not an issue with a converted skoolie

So caps(watch date code still) will run $200 to $300 a piece.... Local milage may vary dsome
