Window leak help! I need to fill this gap!

Hi everyone! I own a 1966 international School bus which has a massive 1" gap between the body and the window itself with zero way of stopping water from running down the window into the bus. How can I keep the windows functional while successfully sealing the windows? Ive tried quite a few attempt with weather stripping and oam but the up and down of the bwindows always causes problems. Thanks in avance!

Oh my God you're a life saver! I'm litterally tearing up with joy! I honestly thought people are going to tell us that we needed to replace all the windows and all hope was lost. You're awesome!!!

Look more before you buy anything........ there are thousands of items like this... you know how you can walk down the isle at the hardware store and there are row and row of bolts... dont stop looking at the first one that "might" work cause you might miss a better one farther along. I will burn two or three days looking for something like this..... research research research....

I found this by typing in "window wipe seal" "antique wiper seals" "edge seals"

Keep in mind, these windows were never designed to keep all the water out... but rather ... let the water out that gets in.......... Use a blower and you be the wind, you know the wind that happens when driving in the rain... and see if some thing unexpected happens.....
