Exclamation Wood Floors

Does anyone have any experience using real wooden floors in their conversion? I'm a little worried about weight but we're getting a really great deal on real wooden floors and it's recycled so we don't want to pass it up. Any suggestions or should we just pass and use laminate? Thanks!

Used tongue and groove oak in ours with no issues. Made for a really nice solid floor. We also have 3/4" osb and insulation under that too so I suppose that helps.

Depends on floor, how heavy being a recycled product? That is a low cog weight and weight does add up I dont believe it will impact that much on a build.

personally...not a fan of wood floors in a Skoolie. Love wood floors...just not in a damp, leaky school bus (they all leak). Anything waterproof will hold up much better.

we used oak and must've went the same route as hardwarenate, heavy wood so i was concerned on weight too. So we didnt put it underneath the cabinets, bed, couch, etc. stuff that you will never see. We got our floor for free so we couldn't pass it up.
