The wheels are 22.5 , just like original. Minus the split rim " widow makers". 8 to 10 lug adapters for my application. My reasoning for doing a total swap vs fixing up all the original gear was a pretty easy choice....if I would have gone to the expense and effort to source all the right parts, in the end I would have a bus that drives like a 1959 bus,,no power steering, drum brakes , smaller motor, difficulty in finding parts later down the road, plus the old frame was in poor shape,,with the swap I get best of both worlds . Newer running gear that's easily obtainable and not super expensive .

This is looking fabulous, and those brushed chrome (?) rub rails are the icing on the cake. Damn near my dream bus, right here!

That roof rack looks great! Really liking the smooth curves - nice fab work.

I notice what appears to be brushed rub rails - are they stainless steel? Did they come bare and unpainted on the Superior body, or did you buy them elsewhere? My '59 doesn't have the prettiest rub rails and I'd love something like that...

They did come out more superior than the original Superior ones lol! Yeah, I'd definitely like to know what paint you used.

Top deck is done ! I really like how it turned out. 5/4 Brazilian walnut (ipe) , she's sturdy 😄.
Have maybe half the wires ran ....the windows are complete though so that's a biggie , will install soon. The outside is about done , and soon as the wiring is finished I'll be insulating , re-skining the inside and getting her painted . I'm looking forward to getting the inside built . Concrete countertop is in design phase , but will be light blue with glass embeds . Tin ceiling tiles that I think will complement her curves. It's definitely taking longer than expected, coming up on a year since I first started, but very pleased with how it's turning out. Thanks for looking!

I'm doing a similar build on my 58' International A150. Moving body to a E350 Super Duty chassis. I have so many questions!
