Hey guys!

Picked up this bus last week and starting the demolition this weekend.

It has a 6'1" ceiling so I am going to be doing a roof raise, but only in the center part of the living space as well as over the shower. I got that work quoted at $1000 from a frabricator I know in town, materials included.

Included in the pictures are examples of the roof raise that I am doing as well as a floor plan.

Let me know what you guys think!! Really excited to finish this and move in!

I love that roof raise idea! I considered this but I'm sneaking in just under the roof raise bar: short bus(length)- tall enough for me. Good luck!

Sweet....The design and the price. My family is from Cape Breton. Keep us updated. Thanks for the pics.

Hey TheRelishMan!

I'm also located in Halifax and just getting started on a bus conversion. Excited to find another one in my area! That roof raise looks great, is it completed now? Would love to check it out in person if you're down for a meet up!
