I finally am able to work on the bus again. [emoji3]

Been working on removing the black trim around the wheel wells. Going to work on removing the floor tomorrow. Gonna have to use an air chisel to get that stuff up. Oh how I wish I had wood underneath my floor. Also I’m gonna have to do some rust repair....

People have had luck using a heat source to warm up the glue. A really hot halogen lamp aimed at a spot for five minutes can be helpful.

Is that photo distorted in some weird way? It looks like the inside edge of the wheel well curves towards the chair rail instead of being parallel with it.

Rust-wise that doesn't look too bad at all, maybe just a couple of small patches welded or screwed in place.

Would a giant propane torch be too much? [emoji16] I’ve thought about trying heat too.

I don’t think it is distorted, I’m sure going to look tomorrow. It’s too rainy outside today to do much. I need to lay some straw outside my bus as my dog has turned it into a racetrack of mud.

The wheel well looks curved or rounded. I have seen AmTram buses with wheel wells like this.

Are you burning off the glue residue?

That seems like it would work great for getting glue residue off the floors. I'm intrigued.

It works great to loosen up the glue to you can actually peel the floor up without getting angry. The glue didn’t really burn, just smell. I’m gonna try a wire wheel on the glue but I don’t have high hopes. Wear a mask if you do this.
