Really love those shelves! Curve on wheel well and stain look sharp!

What wood and stain is it?

Thanks! Yeah with some planning they don’t have to be a big deal. This one will offer some storage as well.

Thanks!! For the wood just used sanded ply from Home Depot. For the stain we used Minwax Polyshades (it's a stain and polyurethane in one). I think we used the Honey color. We really like how the color turned out.

The bus is looking awesome! I love how that table came out.

I will be building the walls, cabinets, and couch in the near future now that i skinned over the needed windows and I have a big empty spot on the wall I have been thinking about table options. Ill be watching to see the progress. That flooring is gonna completely change the look of it!

Working on the floor. The joints in my plywood weren’t perfectly flush so I tried sanding them.

That was a bust.

Nothing worked until I got out my trusty angle grinder with flap disk.

I also got my tank access cover installed.

I have never used this product before, and we’ll see how it does, but loving it so far.

The bulk of the time in installation is the cuts of course.

Supposed to be very durable and waterproof. I couldn’t be more pleased with the look of it.

There is a learning curve, but compared to the 800 sq ft of porcelain tile I did a few years ago it is like falling off a rock to put in.

Can't remember, did you spray foam the whole thing including the floor? Also, is your floor heated?

No I used XPS from Lowe’s. 1/2” to maintain headroom. And no heated floor. It is just steel, rustoleum, XPS, plywood, and “luxury vinyl tile.”

Time to do final install of stove. After looking at the design I didn’t like the idea of it backing up to plywood so I skinned the wall with sheet metal.

I love the way you secured the stove.

Some of the other examples I have seen scare me. I have seen the aftermath of RV accidents with poorly secured furniture and appliances. Pretty scary.....

These have been more difficult than I expected...combination of the wheel well and the mesh, bunk above and swinging door all end up giving a lot to consider.

Thanks! I don’t like the idea of this thing coming loose either! Stressing about safety is for sure one of my main concerns in this project.

You know I like just about everything you have done with this build, but I was worried about that stove.

Looks like you took care of it.
