When I was first looking for a bus I found a lot of ads for food trucks, and seeing what they typically sell for made me consider converting a bus into one (although a great deal of that cost is the cooking equipment that gets built into it).
I wonder if a quarantine lockdown situation would make food trucks successful like ice cream trucks used to be, where you could drive through neighborhoods selling food as you go. You'd have to build things a little differently so you could keep the kitchen running on the go.

Personally I'm not consuming any foods prepped by others, outside the family members I'm self-quarantining with

Me neither, but a lot of people can't cook.

I suppose a food truck is considered an essential service.

Philadelphia (the city proper) just issued a stay-at-home order that also shuts down food trucks and ice cream trucks.

How is that possible? Food trucks should be deemed essential...
same as a takeout restaurant which it basically is!

Harder to regulate, enforce health & safety.
Could force a specific location though.
Cynically, the higher capitalized B&M businesses have more clout and most are going down the tubes anyway
