With the top edge hinged and the quick latch on the outside edge, I can tilt the far panels up to get max sun exposure on that side. Ringed pin keeps the latch and hinges locked secure.

The roof angle was designed and built around these stainless marine hatch hinges. Seems like a long time ago I was calipering and CADing this all out... Super rewarding to see it come together!

Quick latches make it fast and no lost parts! Pin and ring secure latch when down.

I didn't really need the strobe light up top... Wiring was still setup, so decided to put one of these sweet remote controlled pan /tilt halogen spotlights in its place.

Haha. I just drew up the wattage output (on paper) for my outside lights. I think im going to need some bigger wire than planned. . Currently all of my aux LED's appear to draw 70amp. I was going to hook them all up to a 60a remote fuse panel, but might need two. I still have to plan some lights for engine bay, toolboxes as well. Thankfully we have China and Amazon for this stuff!

BTW, if your blinkers don't work with the new LED's, your flasher relay should be the top left in the relay board behind the drivers wiper door (Assuming our similar age Bluebirds are the same, my manual showed All American same diagram on this). I just did mine today after upgrading to LED blinkers.

Thats really sleek looking! Nothing to catch on tree branches or wind. I'm still going back and forth on flat mounting them on cross bars or have a bit more welding and cutting to A frame the solar mounting rails.

It's crazy how fast they all add up. My daughter asked why a water pipe was coming out inside the electric panel.... Then a surprised look when she saw the copper inside... Lol. I used 3 of these for most of my light controls.

Carefree eclipse power arms were pretty easy to mount. 16' Lippert roller and awning go between them. The 16 span was perfect to fall on window pillars for mounting and the shorter mounting length clears the storage boxes on the bottom.

Where did you find those lights, I have been trying to figure out anything better than what I have and those look great.

Tough to find cool looking bus lights!

I ordered from Amazon. Here's the link. I ordered 2 sets to kinda keep the original double round look.

I'm around Spokane. Definitely a different culture from Eastern and West WA. We really want ID to adopt us... West Idaho sounds pretty awesome.

Nothing blew up! What an enormous feeling to have electrical all sorted!

Today was the first time I fired up the Quattro and solar chargers!

The blue baby proved to be a quick setup and does seamless transition between shore power, generator, and solar. Still have a few more fuse holders and Relays to wire up... But how sweet it is to get 120 out of the wall and flip switches for lights!

Wired up a test bank of std AGM batteries to 48v while getting the lipo mounting rack and cell balancer wiring all setup.

Anyhow, big milestone! Now onto pimping out that rear spoiler...

Just before massive Tstorm hits.... Windows got installed on the front end. BOB is one of a kind for sure.

The rear wing is much cooler looking as a spoiler. Lol, I think I like.

It was a Busy last week with graduations and end of year school events fir the kids, but managed to get a few things done.

Important things.... like seat belts, drain system that works, and the 18" subwoofer hidden under the couch....

The front end started coming back together. To help with night driving and to enhance the theater experience.... I prepped all the interior metal and went flat black enamel on everything up front.

Hopefully I can finish the ceiling up there today. I think I'm going to use some of the acoustic carpet and go headliner with it up front.. Still have a retractable TV mount to install....

Rollin

Well BOBs headed out to play.

GVW is 36k. Scaled with empty water and waste, full deisel tank and 10 people @ 29.7k.

Taking a trip, so left a few finishing details till we're back... Stuff like extra paint colors and some interior trim work....

Kids love it, rides smooth.

Feeling good to be in a small crowd of people who have dreamed and built a cool little house on wheels.
