After several years of dreaming my fiance, Lisa, and I finally pulled the plug and bought our bus. We found a 1998 Thomas on eBay and it wasn't too far from home. We won the auction and immediately said Oh Crap, what have we gotten ourselves into. After a couple of days logistical paperwork nightmares we finally got the bus insured and the gate pass for the auction yard released. So this past Tuesday I enlisted the help of my oldest son, Willi and best friend Mike to make the 4 hour trip. I brought Mike along since he has a CDL and could drive the bus home. It was a great trip albeit a bit slow coming home.
