Glad to hear you two are doing better! And thanks for sharing, every bitty picture and comment helps me figure out what to do when I snag a bus.

I like how you framed out the bathroom. How did you attach the studs to the ceiling? L-brackets?

Do you have anything against greens?- arugula, spinach, turnips... all a quick and delicious Spring greens. Believe it or not, I've still got chard that is being harvested through our sub-freezing temps. Cold frames and straw are the reason, but hey- fresh greens in Feb.! And my thumb's only half green. I like your non traditional framing methods by the way- every inch counts, eh? Cheers.

Yeah, the Jamaican spinach likes the climate down there, but there is a Northern variety that's making a come back- the ruderalis... yep, we like ALL kinds of greens!

Re: Birdie-52

Great idea with the bulbs. I would be curious to see how bright it is compared to a 110V bulb. I was looking at one of the local shops the other day and actually found standard size bulbs that fit standard 110 type sockets but were designed to take 12V DC power. They are used in 12V trouble lights and RV fixtures. I will see if I can remember where I saw them again.
