Ok, why does (*enter most disliked vehicle manufacturer of choice here*) put that electrical grid in the rear window of their vehicles?. . .

. . .to keep your hands warm when you're pushing it in winter!

Re: CAMO-MONSTER MY FIRST SKOOLIE

Thanks for the details on the louvers - I'd seen them around here on Mack Dump trucks, but never on a skoolie. The skoolies around here that do block off the radiator use a canvas snap-on grille cover, that can be zipped up & down in the middle like a sweater. (Some of the po' folks use cardboard.) That means if the bus heats up during a run, the driver has to get out and change it. I expect that they pretty much stay the same all month, except for unusual weather. I'd love to have automatic or driver-controlled louvers in the cold.

It was a little bit unsettling the first time I saw a Mack coming toward me snap its grille open as towered over my car. It was probably like seeing the teeth on Matt's bus coming at you.

Re: CAMO-MONSTER MY FIRST SKOOLIE

Well hi.
There here's a little update.
I finally got all the parts to get
my compressor mounted for my
air compressor and for tanks I'm
using 4 old propane tanks so I
I should have enough Valium to
run my 3/4 inpacked gun or what
ever I want to do. But I still have
to plum it all in yet.
