I saw one house truck, not a bus, that someone put the top half of an old 1950 bullet-nose Studebaker Starliner Coupe on near the front of the house portion so that the grill and hood hung over the edge by a couple of feet. Very cool! I guess you could sit in the car, kinda' like a railroad scenic vista-dome cruiser car and take in the scenery as you went down the road. I like the idea of a VW camper on the top, gives you lots of options like a stand up sleeping loft when you are parked. I have an old 47 Chrysler Windsor 4-door "bathtub body" car, and I thought about putting the top half of it on top of a bus, it has lots of windows, would look fairly streamlined in an old fashioned way. Just not sure I want to figure out all the technical stuff and actually do the cutting and grafting. Back in the "good old days" (I am giving away my age here

) I once saw an old hippie house White school bus that had an old VW bus grafted on the roof in the back where some of the "heads" could sit and take in the scenery as they made the trip go by faster by taking an extra "trip" (via the wildwood weed) as they went down the road. I bet there were passing motorists who thought there was a fire in the "vista dome" due to all that smoke, but no one seemed to want to exit that part of the bus!
