Mechanically sound, to our knowledge.
No smoke at all.

6'2" ceiling height (roof raise is in the plans).
11 rows, with tinted 12-inch windows.
3 underbelly storages.
37ft bumper to bumper.
Very little rust is visible.
No air conditioning.
No wheel chair lifts.
No emergency exit roof hatches.
No emergency exit windows.
Only 2 emergency doors, 1 rear, 1 driver side.
Full service records of the entire life of the bus AND operators manual.
Price was $5000.
Bus was only 3 hours away.
29 ft behind driver.
Stickers and stop-sign already removed.

Bus was in service in Harrisburg, Oregon. When the school auctioned it off, it was bought and taken to Oakridge, Oregon, by Brock from "Bus Life Adventures" in October 2017. Brock said the bus just sat there in Oakridge untill the day before we picked it up, supposedly it started right up. We picked up the bus and brought it to a friends farm in Washougal, Washington on June 16th.

Seats out.

It took one person in the bus using an impact driver, and one person under the bus holding the nuts with vice grips. The bolts that that method didn't work on, we used a 4 and 1/2" angle grinder with a cutoff wheel.

Got the heater out. We actually barely spilled any coolant at all. But we drained at least 5 gallons of it, so we bought 3 gallons of the green orielys brand anti-freeze. Still looking for coolant test strips that test for SCAs. But we're still working on the bus while that is on hold.

Got the floor out. Took a 6' pry bar and a hammer to get underneath the plywood. Once underneath, it took the strength of 2 people to completely break the plywood from the steel.

Not nearly as much rust under there as we were expecting. At first we thought there wasnt a single hole in the floor, but we ended up finding a hole that is smaller than a bic lighter. Still very happy with how much rust weve found so far.
