Getting started (finally!)

I purchased my bus in November, 2019....then weather wasn't good for painting, then the pandemic....it finally got painted and I drove it home yesterday...about 350 miles. engine temp gage would slowly rise when driving 65, seems it likes 60 -62 mph, long steep grades of western Maryland had speed down to 35 twice and also had temp rising. So, I'll need to see if there is anything I can do to keep temp down. Also need to find out what temp it should be running at, I tried to keep it under 200 degrees, it went to about 210 a couple times on long grades. Bus could certainly use more power but with the smaller MB engine, this may be as good as it gets.
Not sure this bus will be able to handle "real" mountains.
I won't be able to start the conversion for a while, too many other things that need doing first.
