Got it home, time to make it home.

Finally, a year of shopping has ended , I got exactly what I was looking for. 1999 Thomas MVP er. Rear engine pusher. 3126 cat engine, and MD3060 trans. 12 rows. Took thousands of miles to find a keeper, got it in Maryland, the have a bunch of buses for sale through gov deals and public surplus. The bus I got was a spare bus, only 87k miles on it. Paid under 3k for it. My plan is for everything to go perfect, and I can be a full timer with my family in a year or 2. Love this forum, kept me so motivated to find one, so many great Ideas too. Thanks everyone.

I can hear The Gods of Bus Conversion laughing, although your time frame sounds about right and this forum is the best resource around. Remember Murphy's Law.

Looks like you've got a great foundation for your project.

Re: Got it home, time to make it home.

I live in Maryland and landed the same bus two weeks ago. I was watching gov deals and public surplus too. I was able to look at all they had up for auction and pick the one I wanted. Mine had 140,000 miles but run good. I have Montgomery County bus 8904, we will have to meet one day and do a bus reunion.

Good shopping there, huh? I went on youtube looking for some dashboard information and the video posted was also a Montgomery County bus.... Thomas and everything. Small, small world.

Thanks everyone. I will definitely be making a conversion thread with pictures and stuff.
