Half Cab the Badboy of Buses

Hello all,

I made the jump to get going on my bus conversion dream and no looking back. My bus has had a few names tossed around and wanted to get some feedback from fellow builders to finalize him.
The Bus:
1992 Thomas 30ft? Ish (28?)

6.6L Ford diesel (the Brazilian One)

Allison 625 transmission I believe ( has no engine braking/retarder )

Air brakes

Flatbed Conversion

Cab dimension is basically and 8X8 box. So small living space but sealed and dry now ready to insulate.

Kinda the basics of him and setting up for single guy, dog, motorcycles/dirtbikes, and lots of miles. I was pretty lucky it was basically gutted just had to get the panels off and insulation out.

This is my first ever forum thread so hope this right, never met any of you but been watching you all for years making life happen. Thanks for any positive help and if you have a cleaver name hit me up with it.
Names:
Black Box
Black Hammer
Dewey
Half Cab
Armor King

Thanks and happy traveling!!!
Kenny

bad ass!! ill bet that 6.6 sounds wicked with the stacks.

what you planning to haul?

allison 545 was most common trans on the 6.6, the allison 643 was optional..

with a rig that looks like that you should swap a 10 speed in it with a skull cap Tall stick!!

Thanks. Yeah so the plan is my BMW f800gs, ktm 450, and ltr 250 quad on the back, ready for whatever we get into.
I'm a motorcycle mechanic with a shop here in Anchorage. Just gonna start joining the snowbird crowd and get more riding in down south.

She does sound a bit mean with the duals. Probably cause the leak in the connector pipe but one thing at a time!
