Happy wife happy life

So today's project was getting the co-pilots seat together and mounted. I sourced an air ride seat from a smashed 2018 Kenworth to take on the task.
It has a low pedestal but still required the wheel well to be cut down a few inches to keep the forward visability proper below the top of the windshield. I built a cage frame to straddle the hump and get good good mounting in to the bus body frames. The three point belt is mounted through the hat channel with reinforcement from the exterior( required removing the window trim and crash rails). Still have the air line and electrical to run to the seat. The best part is the swivel base that allows the passenger seat to turn back and be used in the living area. Click image for larger version

That looks rock solid, and infinity times more comfortable than what I just mounted in my bus. My title should be "miserable friends, must make amends".

That's about as good as a co-pilots seat gets!

Thank you sir.
It's all about priorities, if she's not enjoying the ride what are we doing it for?
I have been snooping on here for the last year before making the decision to find our bus and get started. Just want to say thanks to everyone here for all your posts, stories, setbacks and victories. You all have been a great inspiration for us.
Cheers
Curtis and Catherine
