Looks very nice! Is that center part on the ceiling what the whole ceiling is going to look like or is that look just for the middle? In my conversion I have a center part that isn't finished yet but I have it set so I'll have ducted air conditioning; the middle part is going to have a different look than the sided of the ceiling.

my thoughts also, I built the center chase so my fans and skylights trim out flat and to break up the ceiling a little.. I'm going to run stained 1/4 plywood on the sides like I did the front section, then I'm going to rip 2 inch wide 1/4 ply wood strips and glue and staple it to the plywood to hide the screws and break up the huge ceiling. probably stain and polly it to break it up... but who knows I might paint the strips and leave a 1/2 in gap between...

Hello jonb8
That's some fantastic looking work you've got going on there.
Love your ideas for the ceiling design.
I can't wait to see how this turns out.
Cheers

Let's hope one of the channels is good enough to play in the background while you work. Nothing like music or background distraction to make tedious tasks go by easier and quicker.
It appears that skylight will be above the shower pan? Looking good man, I can't wait for the sub-zero weather to end here so I can get going!

Yes I get all the networks, CW and a channel called my 5 that I've never heard of.. I'm working on linking my tablet to the TV with a HDMI cable so we can stream Netflix and You tube for entertainment while traveling.. Yes thats a skylight in the shower, trying to make the 32x32 shower feel bigger...

We were hitting the junk stores looking for old drawer and cabinet hardware and came across this 1940's filing cabinet. It measured out right so we brought it home and refinished it for are pantry... One side is starting to delaminate but that side gets buried. Fits nice on the wheelwell...

I've also been working a little on the dash and mocking up the backup camera and tablet mount for navigation.. I also got a USB charging port installed to keep my devices charged when traveling.

I've got a few more things done on the bus build, we are officially solar powered and thats big for us.. In the beginning I wasn't going to put in the money, research and energy into a project that was this big... in the end we did and I'm so glad I took the time... I also went with the OTR Weboost kit just because its the last thing I could think of that we would ever want to poke a hole in the bus to have.

The bathroom and showers starting to take shape and the fridge we ordered came in.. Its bigger then I expected from the online measurements but "it fits, it ships" and its what we have now.. Since we went with a 115v fridge we are going to go ahead and spend the money we saved by not going 12v and bump are solar to 800w and add 4 more 100amp hour batteries. Its a gamble but I had to make a hard decision on the fridge.. hope I made the right one.

That filing cabinet looks amazing for being 80ish years old, only one delam, that's quality workmanship. Please post pics of it when you get it finished and installed, I'm big on repurposing old furniture and that's a beauty!

If you don't mind sharing, where did you get that small window in what I think will be your washroom/toilet area? Great job up top, looks like a pro works on your bus, you should be very proud of your craftsmanship skill.

The little bathroom window I took out of a camper I bought to scavenge parts from. Thanks for the kind words....and as soon as I get the electric closet done I'm going to mount the filing cabinet...
