Is this a good roof raise plan?

We're attempting to do a version of the “redneck roof raise” (not my phrase) and we wanted to double check our list of steps before undertaking this project. It's all taped and leveled. Let me know if you think we're missing something.

Prep
  1. Drill out rivets in front and back
  2. Drill out rivets on sides
  3. Remove windows
  4. Cut front and back

Raise
  1. Setup 2 long pieces of wood in front and back windows
  2. Bolt 4 jacks to long pieces of wood
  3. Bolt 2 shorter pieces of wood to top of jack and jack up, check levels
  4. Cut off 4 posts closest to jacks at top and bottom
  5. Cut remaining posts in half
  6. Jack up one crank at a time and check levels after each round of cranks
  7. Continue until height reached, check levels
  8. Weld on hat channel closest to jacks
  9. Cut off remaining posts at top and bottom and weld on hat channel

Sheet Metal
  1. Measure and drill rivet holes in hat channel
  2. Apply VHB tape to hat channel
  3. Place sheet metal and drill out holes from inside, while partner holds metal outside
  4. Rivet holes in each sheet, overlapping sheets front to back and top to bottom.
