Jacuzzi bus VI

Greetings. When I was younger, I built 5 buses wirh jacuzzis inside, but haven’t done any in about 15 years.

Now, I’m old, married, and have a couple of children.

We just decided to build a new bus with jacuzzi inside, but this time make it a pretty high end RV like something out of HGTV.

I bought this Bluebird All American direct from the local school district. Nice tires, full tank of fuel, cruise control, air brakes.

I’ll post our progress here.

I've watched you build buses for years, very creative but water sloshing out onto the floor or raising it up with an opening roof are problematic from the get go as you have stated before. I am sure you will do a nice job on the next but think it as far through as you can to avoid unforeseen consequences. sportyrick

Thanks!

I’ve tried some radical things through the years...many of my ideas weren’t as great in practice as they were in theory.

I plan to be relatively conservative with this build. I’ve learned lots from the previous builds.

I’ve also become a slightly better craftsman.

That's some fancy glass, out front. Pinkys out. A bus number destined for a jacuzzi bus. I'm looking forward to following your build.

Spent the day removing rivets from the roof panels: I forgot how much work it is removing rivets!

Then took delivery of Birdie’s new hot tub:

We have fork lift guy lined up this coming week to help install.

Lol, I loved reading all the comments on the Facebook group. All the people bashing the idea seemed to have missed the part where you have done this before, seem to have thought it through, and this is A-Freakin-Merica where a man can build a damn hot tub bus if he wants to!! Best of luck and I can't wait to see how it turns out!!
