Also apparently on the way home I hit something or more than likely someone hit/rubbed me (it wasn't there Sunday morning when we left because I would of seen it hooking lights up)

Re: La Tortuga...updated 09-25-13

OKAY I have the hitch installed, I cut out a sq 2-1/2 hole and inserted tube and welded up (I used the bottom of the bumper for support and install a 2-1/2 wide pc of 1/4 steel 8inches long as a support....plenty strong for the trailer

had to burn off the powder coating

You can see the burnt paint from welding the brace it

Pulled out the race vehicles so I can load them up with all the kayaks this evening (still have to wash them)

The only trailer it will have is the kayak trailer, with 4 boats I just pick it up and pull it everywhere tongue wt. is maybe 50 pounds

I will post a picture before I head out in the morning

Re: La Tortuga...updated 09-25-13

kayaks loaded; I was getting ready to load the "race trucks" when I realized I had dropped the race cars on a yellow jacket nest....

Shopping on the way down to campground

Cool temps and hammer down...yup 71 mph! short down hills, uphills 55/60 mph

Stopped at continental divide, checking on yaks'

found this guy one morning

on the trail

Took alot to get level this time

Sitting pretty

TYPICAL breakfast

Italian one evening

Shrimp and Italian sausage Alfredo on Pasta with fresh parmesan cheese

No pics of the appetizer, it was bruccetta with italian sausage and left over puttanesca sauce

lets see how about rotisserie chicken, green beans and stuffing

Van,Mario and I ate real good

fixing to head home after a week
