Lucy's new bus

Lucy likes her new bus because windows roll down far enough to stick her head out while I am driving. It is a Bluebird/International 7.3 turbo diesel. It is a work in progress and I will post new photos when available. I ave a lot of experience with International 7.3 so message me if you like. Frederick

Looks like one more has decided to take the plunge! How'd you come into this particular bus, and what plans do you have for her?

Hi JDecker. I was driving along a State hiway in Kansas and there were 3 buses for sale to the highest bidder. I liked this one because it is 10 feet longer than my "short" bus, seen in the picture next to it. Same drive train, 170,000 miles. So I put in a bid and I was the only bidder at $1155.55 !!! School board accepted my bid! Many of these on e-bay for sale 2nd or 3rd party. Best to buy direct from the school district if you can. Tell me about your bus. Regards, Frederick.

Here are some pics. Still in progress. For the hitch find a Reese or U-haul used take-off on e-bay or Craigs list and save a lot of $$.

Re: Lucy's new bus

I have used Class V hitches on both of Lucy's buses. These are rated for 10,000 lbs. Bought both on Clist for $50.00 or less.
