Muchee Bus Finished!

Hey y’all!

Greetings from Savannah, GA! I’ve finally finished my wonderful skoolie and would love to share it with everyone. It’s going to be my husband and I permanent home to travel the country in. Not yet, but soon we’ll hit the road!

It’s pretty self sufficient as in it’s got four large solar panels, a “composting toilet”, full shower, wood burning stove, LP stove/oven with vented hood, queen bed with tons of storage and a woodshop/office in the back. It’s also a full size roof raised bus.

Our first venture will be to NC where we’ll travel around to all the national parks and hike the Appalachian trail.

Let me know what you think!

Thank you for all your support while I was in the process of building!

This looks great. It would be cool to see some more in-progress pics from your build.

Nice bus! I'm interested to know which state parks you'll be staying at for hiking, as my wife and I also plan on hiking segments of the AT using our bus as a base station. (For example, has anyone ever tried parking their bus at the Newfound Gap parking lot overnight? Did you get any harassment? Curious.

We found a few campgrounds that you could "hike in" to the AT, during specific seasons, like Deep Creek Campground (NC side), but we haven't tried bringing the bus yet.

part of the APP. trail is closed right now because the bears are grumpy.
over my direction we also have the MTS trail (mountain to sea trail).
and my local state campground has/had no problem with my bus.
