My project to date

Hey all, I wanted to come in and give an update. Covid really kicked our butts the last couple years. I purchased my bus January of 2020 and just now starting the build. I had a friend do my 18" roof raise and with his help just got the windows installed. One of the reasons it has been taking so long is that it took 1 1/2 years to get the correct windows. I got all matching windows and I could have piece milled the windows but I wanted them to look the same. Also, I lost my motivation for a while and then Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, you know the drill. Anyway, I am back on track and rejuvenated. Here some pics. Not sure how to fix the sideways pics

must be a good friend! Looks good...I sometimes struggle with motivation...I find that somedays a take little steps, some days no steps and somedays, once I get started, it's off to the races.

Thanks, He is a good friend, but of course I paid him for his services. He has done 4 raises so far including his own. I think my biggest issue with the motivation was because i was still in the deconstruction/tear down phase. Now that I'm close to actually building, my motivation level has skyrocketed. My wife and I haven't been camping since we sold our Class C last March. I put a deadline of June to get this girl "livable" so we can go camping again.

Save the pics to PNG format in an image editor (after making sure they're rotated correctly) and then post the PNGs. This will fix the sideways pics problem.

Yep. I was having a really hard time finding any joy in the process towards the end of deconstruction. Amazing how quickly that turns around once you start building things.

Yes. Keep in mind, he is a friend and I helped him and we close to each other so the convenience and everything helped with the cost...Prices have gone up obviously due to covid but I think it's a good deal...The roof raise was done over a year ago and I just completed the windows...I am currently working on replacing the roof hatches with skylights.
