New bus

well we still have our International. Some of you already know the engine popped an exhaust valve. Third time... plus too many little surprises. So for now it is parked.

But we can not be without a bus! So this is the formal introduction to the new bus.

2005 Thomas HDX, Mercedes 906 rear engine, 3060 trans, high roof, 36 1/2 ft long

Comfortable cruise 65-70, max speed 75mph with 6th gear unlocked. We bought it at auction in December, and have worked on it a lot since then. It is usable now, and have put a few thousand miles on it so far. Really great driving bus, comfortable and quiet. Lots of little details to finish yet, but here are a few pictures.

Not sure if I will bring the bigger boat back to Florida. The meet we used to go to has been cancelled for this year, and I prefer the little boat in the shallow waters around there.

What color is that? Sorry I am partially color blind I don't see colors like everyone else does. Looks like the color of root beer to me.
