New here and what do I do.

Ok im 20 and my dream is to convert a bus to an rv, I already know about the labor in doing so, but I really don't know what bus or platform to purchase, I'm looking for the right model when it comes to durability. Also what do I need to do license wise when trying to drive a bus to travel from state to state or country. I'm new so I really don't know what to expect

Welcome to the insane asylum.

In choosing the right bus, the task for which it will be used, will best determine the 'right build'.

How do you plan to use it? Haul an off-road machine, tour with a band, raise six kids w/cats&dogs..., weekend rock climbing, party bus, mobile workshop/office?

As far as durability, eh, they generally retire these buses when the expense to maintain them has exceeded the counties' budgets.

If your dream is only to perform the conversion, not use it. Then disregard what he just wrote. I told him not to write all that.

Did I mention insanity?

Tell us more about where you live and plan to travel. Also, long term plans in life will be good too. Most of us have multiple abnormal hobbies and can offer a wide range of opinions. Yes opinions, just like bellybuttons everybody has one.
