I'm looking forward to that project in 3 or 4 years. About 18' of bed to haul my jeep. About 8" roof raise on the rest.

That is a cool idea. How does it affect the weight distribution? I'm no sure how much quads weigh

Most SxS weigh between 1,100 -1,500 lbs. atv's are 600 - 800.

I have had 3 different cars in the back of mine. all under 2450lbs but... 2 tube chassis drag cars and a class 1 Baja that is a 62 VW Bug. that was the one that was the closest to the top of the rear ramp door. It is lifted and on 33" tall tires. Soon I will have add a couple more to have hauled in it. Vintage asphalt modifieds and Vintage dirt modifieds. The ashphalts shouldn't be an issue as they are low, the dirts are the worry as they are a little higher suspension wise but are all 30's bodies.

With what engine/trans combo? We have a jeep and I was wondering if I could pull it behind us.

I prefer a covered/enclosed garage. Which is right now converted to a master bedroom suite.
But this is how I travel i.e. loading and unloading.

Does that platform pivot up and down or how does that work? I'm interested in doing something similar with the dovetailed frame and fold down ramp.

I started a different thread but I will keep that updating as I progress or get other shots of the cars in it.
This is the Class 1 Baja with an inch of clearance. The purple Duster was the main reason for buying the bus. I have sold both but have a 71 Demon to go in it along with 6 vintage modifieds, 2 asphalt and 4 dirt. I have not tried to squeeze the dirt modifieds in but I think 2 of them will fit. the other will go in a trailer, not towed by the bus.

Wow. This is my whole idea, though I just need a 10' deck for my two ATVs.
But I have never done something like this either.
Here's my plan though. Longer than yours.
How bad is it to chop the butt off and relocate? That's my wife's biggest concern.
