Hi cheesewagon, sorry I have not followed up on this thread. Yes 2000 rpm in 5th gear and 55 mph.
This engine can go to 2600 rpm but no need for us.
We just unlocked 6 the gear but did not drive it yet.
We are re-prepping Dory for our next cross country. Last time we were in a hurry and nothing has changed.

So many of my road trips happen last minute .. the grand plans for a future road trip and next thing I know I’m on the road with a pile of parts in the garage or I’m fitting along the trip

We have large windows in Dory and got some free used lexan. So we started making double pane windows on the inside.
Got some "duck" self adhesive foam 3/4 wide 1/2 thick from Wally. Also 10 ft 2" x1/4 white vinyl dense foam core lattice strips from lowes.

Feels a lot warmer to the touch.. here is a pic from a finished and unfinished window. Early in the morning after I pulled the double cell blinds up.

We are here next to a creek and we're sleeping with 4 people and two dogs. Floor heat was on . Outside about 40 f and inside 62 f.
