PLEASE HELP! Need to find trailer hitch receiver

Hi friends,
We are trying to find a trailer hitch receiver for our 2003 international blue bird dt466e 3800. The steel L brackets face inward and towards each other. It needs to be 32” in total length with the brackets facing outwards. We have been finding adjustable hitch receivers but they have a tongue weight of 300lbs and we need 500lbs. Please help if you can we need to order it ASAP. We really want to get on the road
Thank you so much!

BI lost my last post so I'm re typing this. Buy one off Craigslist off of a cab and Chassis or buy one off of a pickup truck and have it modified. School buses did not come with trailer hitches you can't just go down to Kragen and have them order you one.

I used Curt part # 15605, it has a gross towing weight rating of 18,000lb, and a tongue weight rating of 1,800lb.

It bolted right on my TC2000 after drilling the holes.

I cut a square hole in the back bumper to match up to it and it is concealed nicely.

Inwards! The L brackets face inwards! L L except that second L faces to the left.

An easy hitch to install on just about anything is a "Utility Body" style hitch. I've got a class 5. Comes with drop brackets.. and the tube slips into the brackets. Must be welded together once the brackets are bolted in but is fairly universal.

Several outfits make them and they are relatively cheap.

Also, just about any "Cab & Chassis" hitch should work well. The frame widths are the same.
