The roof raise looks great! A friend of mine suggested we do that to my bus, but I'm afraid it might be taller than it is long, no go for me

The lower you keep a raise the easier it is to make it look decent!

I'm playing catch up on your build, so how high did you go? We thought about 6-8" but with such a short wheelbase I don't think it would be fun to drive on the wind. Besides, I'm 5-6 and she-s 5-2 so we wont be hitting our heads when it's all done. Some of my friends and children....they should learn to duck

Leave it be, you'll have plenty of headroom.
I did a 10" raise on a 40' bus. I'd go 8" if I did it again.

I only read this forum on Tapatalk app. No using photo bucket or other BS site to then figure out how to upload. You simply upload directly from your phone or tablet. Way easier!

But if you'd only done 8" I wouldn't be able to fit in it so well!

How's your other build going?

Thanks guys.
They're great folks. It sure is a shame that they're having to go through this.

Sucks so much.

You don't have to work there. Ed didn't know any better and wore his work clothes home. The dust on those clothes was made up of horrible stuff.
They literally dump hoppers of plasma dust in the employee parking area.

I'd change out of my work boots after working crapped-up sites, so's not to cross contaminate my truck's pedals, and always had a complete change of garb, should my clothes get effed up.

I'm so sorry to hear about Eddie's Mom.
But I have to agree that at this point, everyone needs to be tested.

None of them get it at all.
There have been at least 4 or 5 folks directly connected to the shop who've passed away from serious radical cancer in the last decade.
I was fired for telling everyone and no one even cared.

Most of the guys there are just happy they can buy their Busch Light and 305's.
