lol i hasve a friend who rebuilds carbs for everything with a lit cigarette hangin out of his mouth.. and somehow he has never started a fire.. and damn do his carbs work!!
that transition is lookin good.. the slope on it is nice.
what do you do to seal it? lots of sealant underneath it and then caulk the H* out of it ?
or will you weld it?

Yeah, that transition is looking good. I have seen a few of these work out nicely, but I think I may just do a faux front piece and roof section. It would skip the whole slope issue by keeping the roof all one level.

I like that wanderLodge. The straight line works. It can't be any less aerodynamic than a flat front anyway... But the paint makes it.

I just did a tree job this morning. Two BIG palms.
Gotta make a few bucks for steel and stuff.
Won't be doing any work till Saturday. Eddie is coming out early sat and we hopefully will have the transition done. Then on to doors, paneling, windows. The fun stuff.

I only ask, because where I used to live all the beach clubs would bring in palms for the summer season. They would die over winter. Next spring they pulled them out and tossed them. No one ever scavenged them.

you can burn it OUTDOORS but DONT burn it in a fireplace.. it creates a LOT of buildup on chimneys that can cause chimney fires..

Thanks for that! I don't have a fireplace, but I wouldn't have ever considered it before for the fire pit. Learn something new here every day and it isn't always about Skoolies.
Thanks guys.
