Stubborn Bus Seats, how do I remove them?

Hello everyone. Long time lurker here. We had been looking for a bus and finally stumbled upon one we liked and bought it. 2000 Blue Bird All American, 5.9L with Allison 2000 transmission. Today, we started the demolition. We used an angle grinder and managed to remove most of the seats. However, there are a few seats that have bolts that are extremely tight on the side panels and kept on stripping the sockets, and are in inconvenient enough places (by the wheels) so I’m not able to angle grind them. Any suggestions as to how I can go about this?

"stripping the sockets"

use 6-point sockets, not 12-point.

If the bolt heads are now stripped, try "Metrinch" sockets. They work with both metric and standard Masonic (inch) bolts, and will fit on stripped heads.

If the bolts are stripped to the point of being round, get a "flute" style stripped bolt remover.

otherwise, pictures? Then we can help better.

Nice bus. Nice engine. Nice Transmission. Woo hoo!

Suggestions:
1) Attack from underneath.
2) Air ratchet or impact wrench/driver
3) Cut the seat frame until you get to the bolt head. Then tell the little bastard you've come from him and grind him away. (sorry, ptsd from my seat removal).

Having two people really helps.
Vice grips.
Leverage pipe.
Heat
Penetrating oil
Really bright light if attacking from below. LED, adjustable light position with strong magnet to hold the light where you actually want the light. Again, ptsd. I now have a really nice bright light.

Best of luck.
