Within minutes of emailing Wayfair I received, not an email, but a phone call. They gave all the options again, but I told them I was starting to feel guilty taking all these tanks from them and there is a chance the next replacement will likely arrive in the same condition, so I said why don't I keep this one, send it out for repair and you can just refund my original purchase price. They felt that was the correct path to take. So I have 2 free tanks.
sounds like I should order my free tank. lol

So if I mathed that right 2 tanks for free. Not a bad deal. But yeah, someone needs to learn Packaging 101.

Good start to the week. Bought my Magic Chef 10cu. ft. fridge. Got HD to finally replace my compressor, so I can go back to air tools. I just ordered 3 water tanks, 42, 30, 21 gallon. I'll stack the 30 and 21 for fresh and have 42 for gray. All 3 tanks for a total of $240 shipped. Stopped by and picked up my order of 1-1/2" x 1" aluminum angle for trimming.

Someone else wants a free tank too!!
Except for wanting to stick to single source, I would be all over that too.

We're talking about water tanks now, not free propane tanks.

Nice! Now I'd be curious to see peak watts when the compressor fires up.

No free water tanks. A couple people have shown interest in the propane tank, but no one wants to make an offer. I'll hang onto it.

I opened the door and waited for it to kick on, snapped the pic.

Did it drop afterwards? I know about the soft starts but if that is the inductance kick, that's DAMN impressive. I'm reading that as .5 amps?

Got my other 2 tanks today. I thought I had measured correctly and could stack the 30 and 21ga., but I must have erred as they were about 2" too tall stacked. I was able to get them in side by side, but only after removing the rubber mat and the weatherstrip on top. I'll probably switch the location they are in now, moving the gray tank to the front under the shower and sink, and the fresh behind them in front of the rear wheel.

Decided to use the 14" piece of tinted Lexan that I cut out for the vent/fan and replace the passive roof vent with it.
