Looked at a house in MI that had carpet on most of the walls. Ugly green color and it had more shag than the indoor.outdoor astroturf stuff. Heinous. Yours looks much better.

Shag went out in the 70's, lots of it in van conversions from back then.

That '70's Show was a documentary and filmed live just recently. They don't know that it's not the '70s up there any more. I didn't know carpet came in that many different colors until I started house shopping up there.

Wow, that doesn't happen often. The welder showed up and knocked out all the welding I needed, and while your here, weld my vise stand and cut a bigger hole in the bottom of my fire pit so the water will drain. He had given me an estimate of $150 for the bus work, I thought that fair and pulled $200 to cover everything extra I threw in. When he was done and I asked I what I owed he said $140. I said that's not what you quoted me. He said he figured it at the hourly rate, showed up and 4, left at 7, and we dicked around some in there he said. Wow, that's $50/hr. No one around here works that cheaply, well almost no one. I gave him$160.
This trailer hitch isn't going anywhere. Ramp rack secured. Tacked all the skins at the top and went over all my welds from framing the windows

One of the most important jobs for the welder that's been needed for years got fixed. The ball end of the handle on my vise Murpheyed many years ago. Seems every time I use it it ends uo tight with the bare end up and promptly falls to the floor. The threads got boogered, so I couldn't fit a proper nut on it. Well I had him weld a too big nut onto the vice handle and fixed it. A few minutes later I went to pick up the vise stand and grabbed it right on top of that nut. I now have a nut shaped brand on my palm.

we must be in the same movie - same good price for my welder guy and the ball on the end of the handle of my 6" bench vice keeps falling off - perhaps thanks to you, l'll remember not to grab it right after l tack it on - lol

That had to hurt. I've done that with random angle iron after welding and/or grinding but that is light weight stuff. Picking up a 40+ lb vise is totally different. You can't exactly drop it just anywhere or you'll lose a toe.

Working on getting the rear lights working again. Had a tail light working, but after about 5 minutes it had too much amperage going through it and melted the lens.
The middle 2 black breakers were getting extremely hot.

I think the black ones are relays. Crazy to be so hot. LEDs would drop the amps/heat right down. I think when I get time I’ll replace my remaining incandescents with LED (turn signals and backup). All but the headlights anyway. I like halogen headlights.

Those are relays, not fuses.
Is there no directory telling hat they are, on the door, anywhere?
Did you test the circuit before connecting the lights?
Did it heat up then?
20 year old wiring might be toast now heating up like that. Maybe it was damaged before this, did you check the wire cuts etc?
Why? How?
Ohm's Law or Murphy's Law?
AUTOPSY TIME!
1 connection failed, lots more to make..better get them right. Good thing for conversion insurance though

I think I know the answer, but I'll run it by anyways. When I framed up the bathroom as tight as I could get it, as space is at a premium, I ended up with only 16" for a door opening. That might be fine for me, but I'm smaller than the average guy. I have about 6" I can take out of the sink base area, anymore and I'm into my floor heat plumbing. I suppose it's not critical on the placement of those lines, and it will give more room for sink plumbing.

On my tank location, the drains pretty much designated the locations. In the pic with the storage doors open, the tape on the front door is where the sink drain, the rear piece of tape the shower drain. The 2 fresh tanks were so tight in that space I wouldn't be able to plumb anything. So I will mount the larger fresh tank in the storage bay and the second, smaller tank, above it under the sink cabinet. I'll use an elbow from the sink drain to the "T" at the shower drain, then the HepVo valve and into an elbow into the aft end of the gray tank.

Where's the question? 16" is pretty damn tight. You're going to have to turn sideways to get thru unless you're a skinny 8 yr old. Your shoulders have to be that across. I'd add the 6" to the 16" if at all possible.

P.S. Standard 2x4 framing? You could rip them down to 2" and gain yourself another 3" between the walls. Just food for thought.

Because bunk beds are secured to the walls I didn't want to go too light, so I framed it all in 2 x 3's

You could still make the far bathroom wall thinner. The side by the radiant plumbing. You might could go further than the plumbing by notching the wall?
