2600 on a 3126 is piushing it hard.. I like a "virtual" redline of 2400 on them. however you can run it where you want.. (after the governor removal).

6th gear will gain you sometime but i dont see an 80 MPH cruiser out of that bus unless it had a significant HP bump and regear..
I'll second this ... our 3126 is a 210 HP variant. It likes to run 2350 RPM and up to 2500it is fine. It shifts gears up at 2600 RPM, so I have no problem running it at 2350 RPM all day long. We have an Allison 2000 with 5.5:1 rear gears turning 11R22.5 wheels. About the best I have seen is just under 75 MPH. It does like 68-73 MPH just fine.

Led kits designed to fit a 6054 sealed beam are a pretty good bet. There are dozens of them. If your bus has DRL you’ll want to disable that feature or most LED will flicker in the daytime.

Don’t buy the cheapie LED headlights that look like 3 rows of lED in the housing they suck for blinding other drivers and aren’t very bright.

If you do have the 5x7 lights, here are the two best lights I have found with the cheapest prices I have found. I haven't bought either of these, just going off of research I have done. I am planning on the JW Speaker's for mine.

Although with Truthseeker's real world advice, I may go with the Trucklite's.

Ballast resistors will stop the flickering. And CK is right, not all of these are created equal. If not DOT approved, don't buy them.
