Trying to Figure Out a Layout?

Bought this bus recently and am trying to figure out a spacious layout. Still undecided on a roof raise, or wether or not a shower is necessary. Any ideas?

Trying to go for more of a van/life layout because it is a shorty, only about 6 windows. Post pictures or ideas in the comments!

I have a Thomas Minotaur too. Its the same length, but has a rear wheelchair door.

Depending on what you want to do, some of your layout is going to be influenced by the underside since you have little room for tanks forward of the rear wheels.

You need to weigh your priorities and how you’re going to use the bus. I made the “mistake” of making a wet bath that is big for the size of the bus. I think if I were to start over I would have made a tiny toilet room and made a shower in the front steps. Oh well, I’m still pretty happy with it.

I opted for a barbecue tank for propane. The skirt is just barely tall enough to conceal it.

If you’re going to have grey and black tanks and you want them on the drivers side you’re probably going to need to move the AC condenser if you still have it. I took mine off the drivers side and I have plans to install it on the passenger side. The “wing” under the floor’S C channel Where this mounts is ideal for mounting a grey tank. I was challenged to find a place for the black tank. I found a 35 gallon tank that fit inside the C Channel and I took the battery tray out and was able to slide it across to the drivers side.

I just saw the front cowl and realized that’s not a Minotaur, that’s like Mr. Beefy that you’ll find on this site.

Anyhoo, For more opinions try to come up with some objectives to share. For instance mine was/is to build a bus that is capable for 2 people to boondock for 2 weeks without resupply. I also wanted to keep all the windows. I think I came close, though it’s untested. But these two objectives are in conflict with each other and that’s made a storage shortfall that I’m still trying to resolve.

Using a single window bay for the bathroom and making a step shower would have resolved that to some degree.
