We Ain’t Licked Yet!

First trip west with my beautiful teal bus…I often refer to her as “WALY” - aka, “We Ain’t Licked Yet”! Already garnered complaints from at least one HOA, to balance out the dozens of approving thumbs-ups. This has NOT been a trip without trouble, heavens no, but my mechanic skills are growing. Solar system is kicking ass in these sunny mountains. Loving it, even in the stressful moments!

I don't see how anyone can complain about that bus. The paint / exterior workmanship looks great.
Are those pictures cherry-picked, or is that representative of how it looks in real life?
Really dig that color.

Thanks a bunch!! Those pics are pretty accurate- the paint job turned out GREAT. Fortunately, I’ve got some folks in the family who are absolutely kickass painters. We’re very proud of how it turned out!

The complainers were from an HOA. These are people who will actually measure your grass and send you a threatening letter if it's 1/4 inch too long. Last HOA I lived in, I had the cops called on me for "parking in the grass" because one tire was an inch off the driveway. The other 10 inches of the tire was on the concrete. They'll make you repaint your house if your paint is a couple of shades off from an approved color, even if the difference is so slight you can only tell by holding a paint chip against the house. I'm not surprised that such stick-up-the-arse people would complain about someone having a skoolie at their house, what's surprising is that they didn't have the cops impound it.
