We bought a bus!! It's getting real!

After months of thinking, exploring, and looking for a bus we finally made a purchase. We didn't pay bottom dollar, but we purchased it from a truck dealership. They have gone through the but and fixed any mechanical issues and given it a DOT certificate. The extra bonus was that they were in our area and delivered the bus to us. The transferred the title, but didn't register it. This means that while we can't drive it, we also didn't have to purchase commercial insurance or register it as a school bus.

Its a 2003 AmTram RE with just over 200k miles and almost no rust as it was a central Florida bus.

Congrats and nice bus. I'm surprised that they sold it to a civilian with it still painted with "school bus" labels.
