Weird cooling/heating demo

Hi! So after a long time of finding the right size bus and right location I’m on step one of my school bus conversion!
I’ve already hit a snag though..
so I’ve looked on here and through the internet and can’t find another bus with the same cooling/heating system.
I’d otherwise probably keep the AC but it’s more like a fan, and I’ve incorporated a fan in my build already.. any idea how these are taken off? I understand there’s 2 coolant valves under the hood, and those get shut off before taking apart anything going to and fro with coolant lines. Any details regarding how it’s all wired and which cables should go and stay would be immensely appreciated! Thanks!

Ummm

From what I see, Your pictures are of the outside condenser unit- that is the part under the floor- used for the air conditioning. And the part on the ceiling is called the evaporator, a part of the air conditioning. I don’t see any heater hoses in any of the pictures. If you want ac while driving then, pretty much leave all of it alone.

Pulled every bit of my AC systems out.....three condensors, three evaps, 155 feet of 7 wire cable, several hundred feet of 3 wire cable, three control boards. I also pulled the three heaters in the pax section keeping only the dash heat.

I'll be installing 110VAC systems front and rear for air and a new engine coolant heat exchanger (rather than keeping the 25 year old ones that came with the bus).

I don't buy the argument that I needed all that crap, weight, and lost space. But I also don't have school bus style windows that leak like sieves, am spray foaming insulation to better than R14 in the walls, R7.5 in the ceiling which will be sufficient due to the full length and width air gap above the roof, and 7.5 in the floor.

I'm a retired automotive and aviation mechanic, graduate of a Collegiate auto mechanics program, as well as military trained. I used to maintain ASE certification, I've got formal HVAC training, 2 years as a bus mechanic and 3 years as a bus driver.

As the build progresses I'll be letting folks know how the systems work. I'm pretty sure they'll be just fine.
