Change user name alias

I see that my last name is used for my posting name. How do I create an alias? I'd prefer not to use my last name.

You're probably going to have to be on a desktop to get full access to the user control panel. I know various features aren't available or visible on my phone or tablets. I use my initials and last name on several forums but you should absolutely have control over yours.
