Do I have to log in everytime?

Seems that I can't view the forum without logging in, but it still shows guests that are not logged in. Has something changed?

I have no issue staying logged in. I believe you use the settings in the user control panel. I also have Firefox if that makes a difference.

FWIW, I've not had any issues either, I'm on Firefox too.

I don't always use my computer. Not a big deal to log in. I was wondering if this just changed?

My apologies CrazyCal, I misunderstood what you meant the first time around. You're right, the forum currently is NOT available to non-members and that IS a new thing. (I didn't realize it because I always login, but when I saw what you said about other computers what you meant "clicked")

I don't know if it is a permanent thing, or if free viewing will be restored, but I'm sure Steve will chime in soon. He may be having spammer problems or something and is working on a fix, hence no free access for the moment.

Anyway, you ARE right, the forum is NOT free access at the moment, and again I am sorry for misunderstanding your post and responding with an inappropriate answer.

Your cookies probably got messed up, go under your browsers preferences and clear all your cookies, or look at the bottom of the screen and click on Delete All Board Cookies. I have provided the link below:

I am confused. I am on a different computer from when I made this post. If I log out, I cannot view the forum but it still shows five guest that I assume are not logged in. Did something change here because I did not change anything on any of my computers that I know of. Also, if I ate the cookies, is that the same thing as deleting them?

Okay okay, I see what everyone is talking about now. The permissions must have gotten messed up with I upgraded the site last week. Checking into it....

It did have a positive effect. FRESH MEAT. It forced people to stop sitting on the fence and join in on the discussions if they wanted in on the hottest action in town.
