Login is screwed up.

I come here to read and comment on the forums.
As I begin to type my reply, skoolie.net asks me to log in, which I do.
After spending some minutes typing, because I have very shaky hands. I try to post my reply. I'm then told that I'm not logged in, which I then do; but the reply that I spent time typing is lost. So rather than redo the whole thing, I just leave.

Yeah, this is a really irritating problem I run into as well. If you check the little remember me box when you login it should prevent this from happening (at least that's my experience) but still, this shouldn't happen, I've not encountered this on other forums.

Look in the upper left for "post reply". You have to be logged in to do it. You would need to be in a forum to post a "New thread"

inline pictures

After 3 years, I still can't figure out inline pics.

If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and select it from the list. This will be inserted into your post and can be located where you want it displayed.

There is no "arrow". I can drag the icon or the text-link from the attachments list, but that only inserts an icon or text-link.

HOW do I get it to be "located where [I] want it displayed"?

I know some hate it, and so did I for awhile, but I use Photobucket. That way I can use the image code to put the picture where I want it, not a link.

When you are reading a thread you can repl y to that thread. To start a new thread, go up a level to a forum. You should see the new thread button.

you have to use the full youtube(dot)com/watch?v=(id). You can't use the youtu(dot)be shortcuts that YT often generates.
