would it be too much to ask for an automaticspell check, for those of use that have a case of the stupids and know it

Ditch Internet Explorer and start using Mozilla Firefox and you can have that and so much more. I promise it will be an easy conversion to go from one to the other and I promise you won't look back once you do.
