How to Delete a Post?

Does anyone know if it is possible to delete a post once it has posted? If so, please share with the class.

If the edit button hasn't timed out... You can edit the post, and just write in "double post, please delete"

If the edit button has timed out... You'll have to pm a moderator and ask for post to be deleted...

To the best of my knowledge after years on several forums.
