Image hosting -Imgur is failing me

I have been using imgur for my forum posting and image hosting ever since the great photobucket purge. Recently i have been having a frustratingly difficult time with Imgur. I'm on android trying to upload pics from my phone and it continuously fails to upload. I have tried different pics, single files, batch files, different days, times, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still no luck. Its been about two weeks that their platform has not worked for me.

Is anyone else having a similar experience with imgur? or where are you posting your images? I try not to use the forums onboard image attachment system. I think threads look better when the pics are imbedded and viewable by non-members. But that's me. And I know some people hate large imbedded pics because they are on mobile and have crap internet.

Seems to still be working fine on desktop (mac): https://imgur.com/a/5YjxCxQ

My issue with image hosting services is that they always end up going out of business and then all the pics are lost. A number of my favorite StackOverflow posts were mostly ruined because of that.

or skoolie net weazels get power trips and delete a whole thread because they didnt like a hosting service.. I lost a couple threasds that way with no warning theyd be deleted... rather than remove the pics they deleted all the hours of text I had typed over a few months time...

these dyas i just upload my photos to the site.. even though they have strict space requirements for images that tapatalk almost never meets so I have to use a regular desktop..

Yeah I get file size max on this site because it is free to use. And server size cost money. But Cadillac your experience sounds bogus.

It's not 2005 anymore. Most people are shooting huge size pics on their phone. If I have to jump through the hoops of uploading to a desktop to upload to a image hoster to then post..... I'm not going to do it and my thread will lay dead. Not like anyone looks at my thread on here, Instagram/Facebook/imgur. I do it for my own record keeping I suppose.

And musi, thanks for the test but see comment above about having to jump through hoops to post.

Can't the picture uploading be upgraded to a more user-friendly one?
